What is
the ALF appliance??
The ALF appliance uses light forces on the teeth and gums whilst combining the principles of cranial osteopathy. The ALF treatment is a non-traditional orthodontic treatment method. Whilst traditional orthodontics has a goal of improving the appearance and function of the teeth and smile the ALF has a holistic goal of improving wellness.
The whole patient's wellness is achieved via improving the patient’s unknown spinal alignment posture TMJ disorders sensory processing, arch and palate expansion, and airway reshaping. These physiological benefits can result in drastic behavioural and lifestyle changes for both children and adults.

Pricing is based on 12 to 24 month treatment times. Some complex cases will go longer
Prices for clinicians (Cranial Osteopath or Chiropractor) will be separate and pricing will be provided separately

ALF Dental Adjustments ($300 per session required every 5 weeks approx.)

Why Cranial Osteopathy
At our practice, we work in conjunction with the cranial osteopath. The osteopath will gently manipulate the patient's cranial bones and facial coverings. This is done to treat specific dysfunctions and improve realignment and overall health.
The records will be later applied to any orthodontic treatments.
