Sleep-apnoea and Snoring

Sleep apnoea is a potentially life-threatening problem whereby the sufferer’s airway either partially or completely collapses and obstructs during sleep.

What is
Sleep apnoea?

When a person experiences sleep apnoea the brain recognises the oxygen deficit and “wakes” the person up. This is an inbuilt CPR system of the body to help the person to survive. The symptoms are fatigue on awakening and after lunchtime “crash”, nodding off during the day and a general lack of energy. This lack of energy prevents a person from being the best version of themselves and achieving what they want to achieve. The solutions are many and varied and at Integrative Dental with thorough testing, we will formulate a treatment plan for you.
